Policeman Charged With Sexually Assaulting Male Colleague

A police corporal attached to the Motorised Patrol Unit who was accused of fondling one of his colleagues genitals while on patrol duty, is now in custody facing sexual assault charges. The policeman, whose name has not been released, was arrested yesterday by members of the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) at his home in Kingston following a two month probe.

According to reports, the Corporal was on mobile patrol with the constable, when he grabbed the policeman’s crotch and began fondling him. The constable later reported the incident to his superiors and the matter was handed over to CISOCA.

Three Policemen Face Sexual Assault Charges

A police inspector (Alfred Neil) who is accused of having sexual intercourse with his adopted daughter, and two constables (Clifford Brown and Greg Reid) who allegedly committed sexual acts on two minors, appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court yesterday, where they were all granted bail. The inspector was released on bail in the sum of $150,000, with one surety, while the two constables were each offered bail in the sum of $100,000, with one surety each. The three were granted bail on condition that they surrender their travel documents.

All three were arrested and charged on Monday (December 14) by officers from the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse, following a ruling by director of Public Prosecution Paula Llewellyn. All three have denied the allegations, and will return to court on January 26, February 23 and February 15 respectively.

The inspector, who is stationed at the Constant Spring Police Station, is facing two counts of carnal abuse. Allegations are that in 2006, his 16-year-old adopted daughter was asleep at his home when he fondled her breast. She awoke and was taken to the living room, where the accused allegedly undressed himself, fondled her vagina and had sexual intercourse with her. She was allegedly told not to tell anyone, as it was their “little secret”, and he reportedly had sexual intercourse with her on several other occasions before the matter was reported.

The two constables are assigned to the Motorised Patrol Division and Constant Spring Police Station respectively, and both have been charged with indecent assault. Allegations against one of the constables are that on June 30 of this year, three wards of the state were walking by the Stony Hill Police Station, when one of them, who knew the policeman, called out to him. The constable reportedly called them into the station, and allegedly took one of them, a 16-year-old girl, to the back of the station where he pushed his tongue into her ears and fondled her breast and vagina. He also allegedly took out his penis, and rubbed it against the complainant’s breast and ejaculated on her.

Allegations against the other constable are that between 2006 and 2009, he performed oral sex on and fondled the breast of a 10-year-old relative.
