Today’s Clovis cartoon in the Jamaica Observer newspaper shows Minister of National Security, Dwight Nelson, anointing the policeman as Judge, Jury and Executioner. The cartoon is a play on recent controversial statements by Nelson about Jamaica’s war against crime causing ‘collateral damage’ and that the police should not have to pay in those circumstances.
