46 year old Deputy Superintendent Herfa Beckford passed away suddenly in hospital yesterday. Reports indicate that Beckford, who was Head of the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA), was hospitalised two weeks ago, and that she died from unspecified health complications.
