Policeman Murdered In Hanover
Corporal Omar St. Christopher Duncan, who was attached to the Ramble Police Station in Hanover, was shot and killed by gunmen in the Chichester community, after he had responded to a report of armed thugs breaking into a shop.
According to police reports, at approximately 11:30 p.m. last night, Corporal Duncan received reports of armed thugs breaking into a shop and responded to the call. On his approach to the shop, the thugs who were in the building, exited through a back door and opened gunfire hitting him. They made their escape, and Corporal Duncan was taken to the Savanna-la-mar Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
