$68 Million To Rebuild / Repair Firebombed Police Stations

It will cost the Government approximately J$68 million to repair and reconstruct two police stations that were attacked and firebombed by gunmen during the recent unrest in Kingston.

It will cost an estimated $60 million to reconstruct the Hannah Town Police Station in west Kingston, which was burnt to the ground, while it will reportedly cost at least $8 million to repair the Darling Street Police Station which severely damaged after it too was firebombed.
