Clovis Makes Fun Of Former DCP Mark Shields
Former Deputy Commissioner of Police Mark Shields has been very vocal in recent times about the security forces’ recent battles with criminal elements in West Kingston and elsewhere across the island. In today’s Jamaica Observer newspaper, cartoonist Clovis’ pokes fun at Shields, basically implying that he didn’t do much before, and now has a lot of talk since he is no longer a member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Jokes about a man trying to clean up the criminal activity in Jamnaica I feel is out of order. As a person who has been scammed of over $35,000.OO how can the average Jamaican not give Mr Shields all the help he can get in order to change the very negative feelings outside of Jamaica that most people have of what could be a very wonderful place to vist or live and allow the Jamaican citizen proud of their country instead of the “SCUM BAG” country most of us Americans feel THAT Jamaica IS!.
