Assault On Tivoli Was A Success?
Today’s Las May cartoon in the Gleaner newspaper asks whether the recent assault on Tivoli was a success. At least 44 confirmed dead, and still no sign of the man they sought, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke. Was it truly a success?

Thanks to this outrage at least the eyes of Amneaty International and other human rights orgs have now had ther attention more forcefully drawn to the activities of the JC and the JDF. As I write the reports are that 74 people have been shot dead by a force that has obviously been on an uncontrolled rampage through civilian areas which has included indiscriminate bombing from helicopters.
It ought to be clear to any thoughtful person that the whole purpose of this adventure has been to announce to the Jamaican people that the new master will tolerate no revolts in this developing recession and that the Jamaican bankers and their henchmen must be reimbursed and made whole there too at everybody elses expense.
