Gun Trafficking Police Sergeant Slapped With Bribery Charge
Sergeant Russell Robinson, the policeman facing various illegal weapons charges as a result of the big arms find at Munster Road in East Kingston last month, was slapped yesterday with an additional charge of bribery. Robinson allegedly attempted to bribe the arresting officers at the scene of the arms bust, when he reportedly begged them to let him go during the course of his arrest.
Businessman, Garnett Pellington, who was arrested along with Robinson and two others, was also charged with bribery, after he allegedly offered the police $200,000 to release him.
