Former ISCF Commandant Has Fled The Country
Former Commandant of the Island Special Constabulary Force, Harold Crooks, who the police announced recently was wanted for questioning as part of an ongoing criminal investigation (reportedly related to an incident of carnal abuse, where he and another man allegedly sexually assaulted an underaged girl), has apparently fled Jamaica.
According to reports, Crooks left the island on March 17, a day before he was scheduled to meet with investigators at the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.
Crooks’ lawyer spoke to the media yesterday, and said that Crooks called him from a private number, and told him that he’s innocent, but that he would not be returning to Jamaica because he had no faith in the justice system.
