Policeman Murdered Execution Style In St. Catherine
29 year old Corporal Miguel Cuffe, of the Police Statistics Department, became the third policeman to be murdered this year, when he was abducted from a house on Rosemary Lane in Naggo Head, St. Catherine earlier yesterday morning, and later found dead in Southboro. St. Catherine. According to reports, his hands were bound behind him, his neck placed outside his Toyota Hiace minibus and the door closed, before he was shot execution style three times in the head.
According to reports, shortly after 4 a.m. yesterday morning armed men went to a house where Cuffe was apparently spending the weekend with his girlfriend. The men reportedly pretended to be policemen, and called Cuffe out of the house. His hands were tied, and he was taken via his own Toyota Hiace minibus to the neighbouring community of Southboro where he was later found dead. Cuffe’s firearm was reportedly taken from him.
The men also reportedly set ablaze the two-storey house from which they took Cuffe, but his girlfriend managed to escape unhurt.
