Two Policemen Arrested After Deadly Gun Battle
Two rogue policemen, who reportedly went to an area in Lionel Town, Clarendon, to avenge the death of Constable Steve Brown who was shot and killed in the parish earlier this week, were yesterday arrested when they and two other men engaged members of a police patrol in a deadly gunfight in Lionel Town.
All four were reportedly traveling in a vehicle which was intercepted by the police. They opened fire at the police patrol, and the police returned fire, resulting in one unidentified man being shot dead, and another injured in the gunfight. An M-16 assault rifle and two 9 mm pistols were also seized during the incident.
