Policeman Informs Suspect About Police Search Party
Constable Omar Powell, of the St Catherine North Division, appeared before the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate’s court yesterday, where he faced charges of attempting to pervert the course of justice. According to reports, he was held last Thursday (December 17), when just minutes after his superiors held a briefing and were about to go in search of a suspect, he allegedly called and informed the suspect that the police were on their way.
