168 Rank & File Police Promoted
Announced just yesterday via the weekly JCF Force Orders is the promotion of 168 members of the rank and file of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF). 54 were promoted from the rank of Corporal to Sergeant while 114 were promoted from the rank of Constable to Corporal.

A motorist was reportedly arrested in Hanover yesterday afternoon, after he attempted to bribe a policeman.

Following internal court proceedings, the police high command announced yesterday, that 10 members of the constabulary (from the ranks of constable to corporal) were being dismissed.
