Harry ‘Bungles’ Daley Found Guilty – Sentenced To 18 Months In Prison
Former head of the St Catherine North Police, Superintendent Harry ‘Bungles’ Daley, became the most senior Jamaican police officer in years to be found guilty of a crime, when Senior Resident Magistrate Judith Pusey, handed down a verdict of GUILTY against him, in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate Court this morning.
He was accused of collecting protection money, and found guilty of the corruption charges that were leveled against. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison, however his lawyer has indicated that the conviction will be appealed.
