Bungles Assets Being Probed
The assets of Superintendent Harry ‘Bungles’ Daley (who is in the midst of being tried on charges of extortion and corruption) are reportedly being scrutinized by detectives from the Financial Investigation Division. This was revealed in the midst of his trial yesterday, and Daley was apparently very shocked and surprised at the revelation.
Daley reportedly owns numerous properties and ‘high-end’ motor vehicles. If it is found that the assets were gained via illegal or other improper means, under the Proceeds of Crime Act, they could be seized.

It would seem that corruption has become part of Jamaica’s culture. It is very evident in almost every strata of our society. It is nice to know that steps are being taken to expose and bring to justice, those persons who get involved in such activities. I think much more need to be done, and the net should be casted a little further, not just in the police force. People tend to confine corruption to the police, but this is just a minute fraction when one looks at the broader picture. Something needs to be done and very fast…it is hurting our country and our people. It undermines even our very existence in the world.
