JCF Invites Tenders For Funeral Home / Morgue Services

The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) is currently running a series of press ads inviting tenders for the provision of funeral home / morgue services. Here are the details as per the ads:

The Ministry of National Security / Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) invites tenders from suitably qualified contractors to provide funeral home / morgue services islandwide.

Eligibility
For tenders to be eligible, the submissions must have on opening:
(a) Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
(b) Copy of valid National Contracts Commission (NCC) Registration
(c) Copy of license from the local authority to operate a funeral home

Bidding Documents
Tender documents will be available at a non-refundable cost of J$2500 in cash or manager’s cheque payable to “The Commissioner of Police” from Monday, March 23, 2009 at:

Tender Submission
Tenders should be completed and returned with documents stated above by 2 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2009. They are to be placed in a sealed envelope marked “Procurement of funeral home / morgue services” and placed in a tender box located at:

Kingston 5

If any of the above-mentioned enclosures are not submitted, the tender will be deemed to be non-responsive.

No late tenders will be accepted.

Tender Opening
A public opening will take place on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. at 4th Floor Conference Room, NCB Towers (North Tower), 2 Oxford Road, Kingston 5.
