Bungles Trial Gets Underway Today
The trial of Superintendent Harry ‘Bungles’ Daley is scheduled to begin in the Half-Way-Tree Criminal Court today. Superintendent Daley was arrested and charged last year for breaches of the Corruption Prevention Act, and is facing six counts of extortion and six counts of breaching the Corruption Prevention Act.
Allegations are that between May 2007 and July 2008, Daley collected J$65K from a St. Catherine man as ‘protection money’ for a business located in the parish of St. Catherine. The prosecution is reportedly relying on video and audio tapes to prove their case against Daley who is currently on bail and interdicted from the Jamaica Constabulary Force pending the verdict in the case.

Harry is a good person, I grew up as a child knowing him. What is really happening is a surprise, He is a person that is more to give than to take, if you are hungry and you see him consider yourself fed by a good samaritan. My prayer s are with him through this trial.
