Charged with impersonating an officer and simple robbery is Ricardo Walker, otherwise called ‘Ricky’, a 27-year-old paralegal of a Kintyre Road, Kingston 6, address. The accused reportedly held his waist as though he had a gun, and dragged the complainant by the waist to Waterloo Road. It is alleged that he threatened to kill the complainant, and then proceeded to rob him of J$10,000 and a cellular phone valued at J$3,500. He then told the complainant to run.
A report was made to the police and the area was searched. The accused was pointed out by the complainant and held by the police in the Half-Way-Tree Square. None of the stolen items were however recovered.
