Gleaner Editorial About Audley Shaw & the JCF’s Targets
Commissioner of Police, Rear Admiral Hardley Lewin, recently announced that the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) has projected a 5% reduction in homicides for the year as one of their major goals.
Minister of Finance, Audley Shaw, then publicly chided the Commissioner and the JCF for what he deemed to be an extremely low target, especially with the island’s spiraling crime and murder rates.
