Jamaican Society is Fast Asleep?
A recent Clovis cartoon highlights a couple of the issues that Jamaican police have to deal with quite regularly. In one instance, they catch one of Jamaica’s most wanted with two illegal guns in his possession. The judge issues a slap on the wrist in the form of a light fine. In the other instance, they shoot and kill one of Jamaica’s most wanted, and residents flood the scene with placards demanding justice and stating that the man was shot in cold blood. What to do??
