The Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) recently launched “Street Beat”, a special feature (seen first today – Friday, November 28, 2008 in the Gleaner newspaper) provided by the JCF that aims to make Jamaicans aware of the JCF’s activities and strategies. It is also intended to build police-citizen relations.

Deputy Superintendent of Police, Millicent Sproul Thomas – a woman cop with a disarming smile. She has been the divisional commander for the tough Kingston Central Division (Southside, Allman Town and sections of Downtown Kingston) for almost two years.
