Woman District Constable to be buried tomorrow
Venet Guthrie, the woman district constable who was murdered by a masked gunman two weeks ago, will be buried tomorrow, following a thanksgiving service at the Riverside United Church in Kingsvale, St. James.
High ranking police officers, officials of the Ministry of National Security as well as hundreds of mourners are expected to be in attendance to pay their final respects to her.
Investigators probing the homicide are still to identify any strong leads and are yet to establish a motive for the murder.
