Clovis, the Jamaica Observer’s cartoonist, does a good job with today’s cartoon – describing “Jamaica’s Corrupt Transportation System”. Of note to us is the policeman depicted in the driver’s seat of a Coaster bus, clearly a direct jab at the known fact that many policemen have various “side jobs” and moonlight regularly doing everything from driving buses, to running taxis and offering private security services.
