Regarding Inspector Edgar Brown who recovered J$45 million in stolen cash.
Dear Editor,
I am an ex-Jamaican detective now living and serving in the British police force.
I just want to add my appreciation and admiration for a man whom I consider to be a sterling example of what honesty, integrity, hard work, dedication, long-suffering and patience is all about.
I am referring to none other than Inspector Edgar Brown who was honoured by the prime minister and the minister of national security earlier this month for his outstanding bravery and honesty during what would have certainly been a clear getaway by criminal elements who not only shot and killed a security guard, but stole over $45 million … more
